GST rate on non-branded namkeens, bhujias, fruit & vegetable chips, snack foods etc. sold in loosed form. please also quote text of the act.

Reply- Namkeens, bhujia, mixture, chabena and similar edible preparations in ready for consumption form [other than roasted gram], put up in unit container and,-(a) bearing a registered brand name is taxable @12% and if not bearing any trade mark taxable @ 5%.
