Transitional Credit — Section 140 of the CGST Act, 2017— The petitioner sought a direction to the respondents to allow the petitioner to carry forward in its electronic credit ledger the eligible credit of Rs. 6,85,863/- , which was available in the books of accounts of the petitioner as on 30.06. 2017. The petitioner submitted that they could not carry forward this credit for reasons beyond its control due to glitches in the system of the respondents and submitted that Rules 117 and 120A are ultra vires Sections 140 and 174 of the Act.
