The interim bail already granted due to COVID-19 Pandemic till 11.07.2020 shall stand extended till further orders.

Section 132 of the CGST Act, 2017—Bail -- The petitioner engaged in the business of trading of lead ingots, and was arrested by the respondents on 23.10.2019. After completing investigation, the respondents filed a complaint under Section 132 of the Act, 2017 dated 20.12.2019 before the CJM, Gurugram alleging that the petitioner has passed on ITC by issuing sale bills to various parties without supply of goods. The trial is at the stage of pre-charge evidence. Till date no witness has been examined. The petitioner was granted interim bail. The petitioner challenged the vires of Section 69 and 132 of Act, 2017. The court observed considerable force in the submissions raised by the Petitioner. Held that:-The Hon’ble High Court listed the matter for 30.07.2020 and extended the interim bail already granted due to COVID-19 Pandemic till further orders.
