Functioning of the GST system– On various issues raised by the petitioner association, the respondent submitted that there have been two meetings held with the Petitioners in order to resolve the issues raised by them. On some issues there has been a consensus, whereas on some issues, the Department desires to place on record its response, through an affidavit, which will be filed within two weeks. The Respondents shall also place on record the data/logs which would show about the broad nature of the complaints about the functioning of the GST system over the past three months and how they have been sought to be resolved.
Held that:-The Hon’ble High Court directed that on the issues where a consensus has been arrived at, the changes should be implemented by the Respondents without waiting for further orders.
