GST on Royalty – The court placed its reliance on the detailed order passed at Principal Seat, Jodhpur in the matter of Shree Basant Bhandar Int Udyog Vs. Union of India & Ors.

Held that:- The Hon’ble High Court issued notice to the respondents, Returnable within four weeks and directed that the proposed recovery of GST on royalty shall remain stayed qua the petitioners. However, the respondents shall be at liberty to continue with the proceedings which have been initiated under the impugned notices.
